An advanced image authentication using passimage algorithm to resist shoulder surfing attack

Abstract

In today’s world of rapid growing technologies and Security play’s efficient role in the protection of people’s confidential information from various system attacks. So we need to providethe solution to these problems as there should be some form of strong authentication protection. Most of the system user prefer textual password in the application of security and privacy for their computer system. However there will always be a risk of human’s selecting a bad or small password or either in putting them in the insecure manner are said to be “the weakest process” in the authentication chain. Except selecting a powerful character set, user tend to select the images click points as a password which is easier, less complicated and this type of password is easy for memorization.
